I prefer manual to.... oh wait, nevermind

Since neither have a manual, and despite it being just a slushy-Vette with a strange outfit, I would take the XLR-V.
I really do like the styling, and would mod it to make it more drivable.

I'll take the Jag with a Supra 5-speed :)

I somewhat remember reading that the XLR and XLR-V were pretty shitty to own.
I like that Jaguar.

Apparently, this isn't as one sided as I figured it would be.

I had a bit of a plan at one point to swap the 5-speed (or is it 6-speed?) from a Toyota Supra into a Jaguar XKR. They sound utterly beastly with uncorked exhausts, and you can remap the engine management to run ok without an auto-box talking to it.

Well the Caddy is a $100K car that's faster than the Jag and, arguably for taller folks, more comfortable. But the Jag is sex on wheels in BRG so I was prepared for it to be the favorite.

Isn't the XKR really unreliable though?

and the xlr has a crappy interior and is way overpriced for what it is. They're both flawed.

Those Jags had their share of problems too, especially the early models. Plastic water pumps or something like that. When they failed, the engines, especially the hot supercharged ones, would usually be ruined.

Ah. I see. Well, since I HAVE to choose one, it would be the Jag. Otherwise, any other car for the prices these are at are definitely going to be picked first.
